8 Holland Street is delighted to present CHARLIE SHEPPARD: DAISY CHAIN, an exhibition bringing together a new body of mosaic works that celebrates the playful relationship between people and flowers. Daisy Chain explores the contrast between our impulse to shape and arrange flowers and the ways in which they quietly resist our control. From the childlike pleasure of weaving a daisy chain or carefully potting a plant, to the understated humour of a wilted bloom on a windowsill or a stem bending beyond the frame, each composition reflects the tension between human intention and nature's own course.
